Key designer of the 20th century, Charlotte Perriand (1903-1999) is one of the founders of modern interior design. During the 70 years she dedicated to her work as a pioneer, and even though her approach was the one of an architect, she endlessly reflected on a political and ethical housing.
Realised thanks to exclusive Perriand archives, this monograph covers the period from 1903 to 1959 ans reveals the complex reflexion undertook by Charlotte Perriand throughout her own achievements, but also through her friendships and collaborations with the greatest architects, engineers and artists of her time.
