Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie was born in Nigeria in 1977. At the age of nineteen, she was awarded a scholarship to study communication and political science in Philadelphia. A few years later, she earned a master's degree in creative writing from John Hopkins University in Baltimore. Today, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie lives between Nigeria and the United States and is recognised as a great writer all over the world.
