Description

This catalogue is based on the "Tom Wesselmann, La Promesse du Bonheur" exhibition, conceived by Chris Sharp and with the scientific approach of Cristiano Raimondi. Introduced on three whole floors at Villa Paloma of Monaco, it gathers twenty-five pieces - paintings, drawings and sculptures - realized between 1963 and 1993. Each aspect of this book - which reveals 170 colored illustrations - is conceived to reflect the artist's view, so singularly pictural, and which is represented within the exhibition.
