Claude Monet - Joan Mitchell

Description

Collection of interviews conducted by Guy Bloch-Champfort with a multitude of artists, art historians and personalities close to the artist from Paul Auster to Zuka. Through these rare conversations, a lively, intimate Joan Mitchell emerges, revealing to us a number of unrecognized traits that are fundamental to the understanding of her masterful work.

Guy Bloch-Champfort - an international lawyer and later a journalist in the fields of art and design - was a close friend of Joan Mitchell and the coordinator of her estate's inventory. He is the initiator and artistic advisor of the documentary "Joan Mitchell, une femme dans l'abstraction" (ARTE and Fondation Louis Vuitton, directed by Stéphane Ghez in 2022).
