Mark Rothko

Description

In 1995, Dora Vallier, already published several times by the Echoppe publishing house, started writing a new book about Mark Rothko, using two texts that she had written for two Rothko's exhibition in Paris, in 1962 and 1972. This project was almost finished but the author hoped to find other informations to complete the text, especially on the almost unknown exhibition of december 1962. At the time, the Paris Modern Art Museum archives were unavailable. Then, Dora Vallier got sick and disappeared in 1997. The Echoppe publishing house recently rediscovered the text in boxes and hopefully complete it thanks to new sources.
