Mark Rothko

Description

This manuscript, believed missing, was discovered in the 80s in a warehouse in New York. When it was written in the 40s, Rothko was an artist who struggled to live off of his paintings. He decided to put those feelings of weariness and his thoughts on paper. In those writings, he reflects on the main occidental art movements and on the painters who were prominent figures.
